The secondary roads that cross the wide plain between Aquino and Roccasecca lead to the places of Saint Thomas, eternally disputed between the bell towers and the remains of the ancient Aquinum. The most recent history is brought to life, however, by the “Ciclopista della memoria”, a trail that retraces the roads used by the German army during World War II and ends in the archeological area of the ancient Casinum.
